About Toughened Glass
Toughened (tempered) glass is ordinary glass that has been heat-treated to give it much higher strength than normal annealed glass. If it is ever broken, it breaks into small blunt pieces rather than long sharp shards.
Shine Glass toughens glass cut to your sizes, with polished edges and any holes or cut-outs finished before toughening, so it arrives ready to fit. Tell us where the glass will be used and we will help you choose a suitable thickness and finish.
